Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Fresh strawberries use ripe strawberries for the best flavor

  • Baking Sheets

Method
 

  1. Begin by rinsing your fresh strawberries under cool water. Pat them dry gently with a soft cloth.
  2. Place each berry on the cutting board. Slice them evenly, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper. Lay the slices flat, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  4. Set your oven to a low temperature, around 150°F to 200°F. Allow it to preheat fully.
  5. Place the baking sheets in the oven and set a timer for around 2-3 hours.
  6. Every hour, check the strawberries; they should become less pliable but still slightly soft.
  7. Once dried to your liking, carefully remove the trays from the oven and let the strawberries cool on a cooling rack.
  8. Once cool, you can store them immediately, or indulge in a few.

Notes

Dried strawberries can be stored in an airtight container for several weeks. Enjoy them as a snack or add them to cereals and salads.
