Cheesy Cheddar Garlic Breadsticks

Deliciously cheesy and garlicky, these breadsticks are perfect for dipping and sharing!

Ingredients
  

  • 360 ml warm water to activate yeast
  • 30 g sugar helps yeast activation
  • 10 g yeast active dry yeast
  • 420 g flour all-purpose flour
  • 5 tsp salt for flavor
  • 85 g salted butter melted for brushing
  • 5 g garlic powder for flavor
  • 5 g Italian seasoning for flavor
  • 240 g shredded cheddar cheese for topping
  • 5 g parmesan cheese for topping
  • g chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a small bowl, add warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir together and let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add flour and salt to a stand mixer. Add the yeast mixture and mix until smooth. Allow the dough to rise for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough into a large rectangle on a large cookie sheet, or roll it out onto a 10-inch pizza pan about ΒΌ inch thick. Let the dough rest for another 10 minutes.
  5. Melt the butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush on top of the pizza dough.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese. Top with chopped parsley for garnish.
  7. Bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Remove from oven and cut into strips.

Notes

These breadsticks are best served warm and can be paired with marinara sauce for dipping.
