Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon balm leaves chopped
  • 1-2 inches fresh ginger root peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or stevia optional

Method
 

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Chop fresh lemon balm leaves and slice ginger into thin pieces. Squeeze the juice from a fresh lemon.
  2. Boil Water: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan or kettle.
  3. Add Lemon Balm and Ginger: Once the water boils, remove it from the heat and add the chopped lemon balm and sliced ginger. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Strain the Herbs: Use a fine strainer or tea infuser to remove the herbs from the water.
  5. Add Lemon Juice and Sweetener: Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey or stevia for sweetness. Taste and adjust as needed.
