Ingredients
  

or the Chocolate Coating:
  • 300 g dark chocolate high quality
  • 100 g milk chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional, for a glossy finish
  • 50 g white chocolate optional, for decoration
For the Pistachio Filling:
  • 150 g kataifi pastry shredded phyllo dough, finely chopped
  • 75 g pistachio paste
  • 15 g pistachio powder optional, for extra flavor
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Kataifi
  2. Finely chop the kataifi dough.
  3. In a sauté pan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
  4. Add the kataifi and sauté until golden and crispy (about 5 minutes), stirring constantly.
  5. Set aside to cool.
  6. Step 2: Make the Pistachio Filling
  7. In a bowl, mix the crispy kataifi, pistachio paste, tahini, and salt.
  8. If using, add pistachio powder for enhanced flavor.
  9. Mix until well combined.
  10. Step 3: Melt the Chocolate
  11. Melt the dark and milk chocolate together using a double boiler or microwave in 10-second intervals.
  12. Stir until smooth. Add coconut oil for a glossy finish (optional).
  13. Melt the white chocolate separately for decoration (optional).
  14. Step 4: Assemble the Chocolate Bars
  15. Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate into silicone molds, covering the bottom and sides.
  16. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set.
  17. Spoon or pipe the pistachio filling into the molds, leaving a small border.
  18. Pour another layer of melted chocolate on top, smoothing it out.
  19. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until fully set.
  20. Step 5: Decorate and Serve

  23. Drizzle melted white chocolate on top for decoration (optional).
  24. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
