Ingredients
  

  • 900 g chicken thighs cut into 1-inch chunks for even cooking
  • 180 ml teriyaki sauce I prefer Kikkoman for the best glaze consistency
  • 190 g pineapple
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 450 g broccoli cut into small florets for better roasting
  • 30 ml olive oil I use Bertolli extra virgin for a milder flavor

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine chicken thighs, teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, and olive oil. Toss to coat.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture on a sheet pan and add broccoli florets and pineapple pieces.
  4. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and broccoli is tender.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy your sweet and savory dish!

Notes

Feel free to substitute the chicken with tofu for a vegetarian option, and adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce to taste.
