Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add orange extract, grated orange peel, and mix well.
- Gradually add confectioners' sugar, mixing until fully incorporated.
- If using, add orange gel coloring and mix until the desired color is achieved.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the mints to set.
