  • 1 count red bell pepper thinly sliced for easy wrapping and even distribution
  • 1 count cucumber julienned for a refreshing crunch
  • 0.5 count red onion thinly sliced for a milder taste and better texture
  • 1 count lettuce leaves torn or shredded for freshness and volume
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce for spreading a sweet and spicy base
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for frying the halloumi to golden perfection

  • 10 g fresh herbs (cilantro, parsley) optional garnish for added aroma and flavor
  • 50 g pickled vegetables optional, for a tangy and crunchy element

Equipment

Method

  1. Slice halloumi evenly into ½-inch thick pieces. Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium heat. Fry halloumi for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Thinly slice the red bell pepper and red onion. Julienne the cucumber and tear the lettuce leaves. Ensure vegetables remain fresh and crisp.
  3. Spread sweet chili sauce evenly on each tortilla wrap. Layer with the fried halloumi, then the prepared vegetables (bell pepper, cucumber, red onion, lettuce), and finally any optional toppings like avocado, fresh herbs, or pickled vegetables.
  4. To form the wrap, fold the bottom edge of the tortilla over the filling, then roll or fold the sides inwards to create a tight, burrito-style wrap.
  5. For extra warmth and crisp edges, you can lightly toast the assembled wraps in a skillet or oven for a few minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Sweet Chili Halloumi Wraps.
