Super Bouncy Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 15 g white school glue (PVA glue) Use washable glue for easy cleanup.
  • 2 tsp borax powder Make sure to dissolve well.
  • 45 ml warm water Use more or less for consistency.
  • 8 g cornstarch Adjust for desired firmness.
  • 1 Food coloring Any color of your choice.
  • 1 Zip-top bag or airtight container For storage of bouncy balls.

Equipment

  • Disposable cup
  • Spoon or popsicle stick
  • Plastic gloves

Method
 

  1. In a disposable cup, mix 15g of white school glue with 45ml of warm water. Whisk to combine.
  2. Dissolve 2tsp of borax powder in a splash of warm water in a separate cup.
  3. Pour the borax solution into the glue mixture slowly while stirring continuously.
  4. Add in 8g of cornstarch and mix until smooth.
  5. Add food coloring and mix until desired color is achieved.
  6. Knead the mixture until it forms a ball, adjusting with borax or warm water as necessary.
  7. Store the bouncy balls in a zip-top bag or airtight container.

Notes

These bouncy balls make a great science project and can be customized with different colors. Enjoy your crafting!
