Ingredients

  • 450 g white chocolate chips
  • 397 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 packet orange gel food coloring
  • 1 packet yellow gel food coloring
  • to taste edible gold stardust
  • to taste candy corn optional for garnish

Equipment

  • 8x8-inch baking dish

Method

  1. Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease the parchment with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low, stirring constantly until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Divide the fudge mixture evenly into three bowls.
  4. Add a few drops of yellow gel food coloring to one bowl and mix until the desired color is achieved. Pour the yellow mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to set slightly.
  5. Add orange gel food coloring to the second bowl and mix until smooth. Pour the orange layer over the chilled yellow layer, spreading evenly. Chill for another 10 minutes.
  6. Pour the remaining (uncolored) fudge mixture over the orange layer and spread evenly.
  7. Dust the top of the fudge with edible gold stardust. Optional: Arrange candy corn pieces on top for added flair. Refrigerate the layered fudge for at least 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
  8. Once set, use the parchment overhang to lift the fudge from the pan. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve your glowing, candy-corn-inspired treat!
