Ingredients
  

  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning and simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat and add Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. Divide pizza dough into 4 portions and roll into 6-inch circles.
  6. Spread alfredo sauce on one half of each dough circle.
  7. Top with shredded chicken and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Fold dough over filling and seal edges with a fork.
  9. Mix softened butter with parsley and brush over calzones.
  10. Air fry at 375°F for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  11. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Avoid overfilling calzones to prevent bursting and allow alfredo sauce to cool slightly before assembly for best texture.
