Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1⅓ lbs broccoli florets finely chopped
  • 8 slices crispy cooked bacon chopped
  • cup chopped red onion
  • ½ cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • cup sliced almonds

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Finely chop the broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Cook the bacon until crispy and chop into small pieces.
  4. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, bacon, red onion, cranberries, and sliced almonds.
  5. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture.
  6. Gently toss until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours before serving.
  8. Toss again just before serving for best texture and flavor.

Notes

Chilling the salad allows the flavors to blend perfectly. For best results, use fresh broccoli and toast the almonds before adding.
