Simple Banana Split Fluff Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 20 oz crushed pineapple in juice
  • 1 box 3.4 oz instant banana cream pudding mix
  • 1 container 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 jar 10 oz maraschino cherries, drained and halved
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 –3 ripe bananas sliced
  • Rainbow sprinkles for topping

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, mix crushed pineapple with juice and banana pudding mix until thickened.
  2. Gently fold in Cool Whip until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Fold in cherries, walnuts, chocolate chips, and marshmallows.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Just before serving, fold in sliced bananas.
  6. Top with extra cherries, chocolate chips, walnuts, and rainbow sprinkles.
  7. Serve chilled.

Notes

Do not drain the pineapple — the juice activates the pudding mix. Add bananas right before serving to prevent browning. Toast walnuts for enhanced flavor. Chill for best texture and taste.
