- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth in a medium bowl.
- Chill the mixture for 30 minutes until firm enough to handle.
- Roll the chilled cream cheese mixture into small balls. Make a small indentation in the center of each ball and fill with a dab of salted caramel sauce, then reshape to seal.
- In a separate shallow dish, combine the crushed pretzels, finely chopped roasted peanuts, and melted butter for the coating.
- Roll each caramel-filled ball in the pretzel-peanut coating until fully covered.
- Chill the coated balls again for at least 30 minutes to set completely.
- Before serving, drizzle additional salted caramel sauce over the chilled cheesecake balls for an extra touch.
Notes
These cheesecake balls are a perfect make-ahead dessert or party snack. For an extra festive touch, you can also dip them in melted chocolate before rolling in the pretzel coating.
