- Whisk olive oil, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Add thinly sliced steak and toss until fully coated.
- Cover and marinate at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours).
- Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Remove steak from marinade and lightly pat dry.
- Cook steak 2–3 minutes per side until golden and medium-rare.
- Rest steak 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
- Warm reserved marinade, boil 1 minute, and drizzle over steak before serving.
Notes
Avoid over-marinating thin steak beyond 2 hours to prevent toughness. Always slice against the grain for maximum tenderness.
