- Lightly grease a microwave-safe mug (10–12 oz capacity).
- Add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until fully combined and lump-free.
- Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkle a few on top if desired.
- Microwave for 60–90 seconds depending on microwave wattage. The brownie should look set on the edges and slightly fudgy in the center.
- Cool for 1–2 minutes before serving. Enjoy directly from the mug or invert onto a plate. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
