Ingredients
  

  • 595 g cherry pie filling
  • 226 g cream cheese softened
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 432 g yellow cake mix
  • 113 g unsalted butter melted
  • 60 g chopped pecans optional
  • 5 tsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Spread cherry pie filling evenly in the dish.
  4. Dollop cream cheese mixture over cherries and spread lightly.
  5. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly on top.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
  7. Sprinkle pecans and cinnamon over the top.
  8. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Cool 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Do not mix layers. Ensure cream cheese is softened for a smooth texture. Let cool slightly before serving to allow layers to set properly.
