Ingredients

  • 900 g Chicken wings (flats and drumettes)
  • 12 g Baking powder for extra crunch
  • 5 g Salt
  • 5 g Black pepper
  • 5 g Garlic powder
  • 5 g Onion powder
  • 120 ml Buffalo sauce or BBQ sauce
  • 30 g Melted butter
  • 1 spray Cooking spray Olive oil or Avocado oil

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Dry the wings with paper towels. Dry skin makes them very crispy.
  2. Put wings in a large bowl. Add baking powder and all spices. Toss them until they are coated well.
  3. Set your air fryer to 400°F. Let it warm up for five minutes.
  4. Place wings in the fryer basket. Do not crowd the wings. Leave space for the hot air.
  5. Cook the wings for 10 minutes. This starts the crisping process.
  6. Open the basket and flip them. Use your tongs carefully.
  7. Cook for 10 more minutes. The skin should look dark gold.
  8. Mix buffalo sauce and melted butter. Use a small bowl for this.
  9. Put hot wings in a clean bowl. Pour the sauce over them. Toss until they are fully coated.

Notes

Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for a classic touch.
