Ingredients
  

  • 85 g strawberry gelatin mix
  • 240 ml boiling water
  • 150 g crushed pineapple drained
  • 100 g mini marshmallows
  • 240 ml whipped topping
  • 120 g cottage cheese
  • 60 g chopped walnuts optional
  • 75 g maraschino cherries halved

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the strawberry gelatin mix. Pour in the boiling water and stir until the gelatin completely dissolves.
  2. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding the other ingredients.
  3. Stir in the drained crushed pineapple and halved maraschino cherries.
  4. Add the cottage cheese and gently stir until everything is evenly combined.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped topping and mini marshmallows.
  6. If you like a little crunch, fold in the chopped walnuts as well.
  7. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours.
  8. Give the salad a gentle stir before serving. Spoon it into bowls or serve it as a sweet side dish.

Notes

This salad is versatile; feel free to add other fruits or adjust the sweetness to your liking.
