Pink Brownie Base

A delightful pink brownie base topped with an egg-free cookie dough dome and a luscious pink glaze.

Ingredients
  

  • 113 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 2 pieces large eggs
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 40 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 65 g all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • as needed Pink food coloring (gel)
  • 113 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 30 ml milk
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 130 g all-purpose flour, heat-treated
  • 90 g mini chocolate chips
  • 120 g powdered sugar
  • 30 ml milk
  • as needed Pink food coloring
  • as needed Pink candy melts or pink chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), whisk melted butter and sugar, add eggs, vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, salt, and pink food coloring, mix until smooth.
  2. Pour batter into a lined square pan, bake for 18–20 minutes, cool completely, then cut into thick round discs using a cutter.
  3. Cream butter and sugars, mix in milk and vanilla, fold in flour and chocolate chips until soft and moldable.
  4. Scoop cookie dough and gently press into half-sphere molds or shape by hand, freeze for 20 minutes until firm.
  5. Place each chilled cookie-dough dome on top of a brownie base, pressing lightly.
  6. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and pink coloring until thick but pourable, spoon over each piece letting it drip naturally.
  7. Top with pink candy melts, chill for 15 minutes to set, then serve.

Notes

These pink brownies are perfect for parties or special occasions. Feel free to adjust the amount of food coloring for a more vibrant look!
