Ingredients
  

  • 450 g ground beef
  • 120 ml beef broth
  • 15 ml Dijon mustard
  • 10 ml olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 medium green bell peppers, diced
  • 8 medium mushrooms, diced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté diced onion, green bell peppers, and mushrooms for 8 to 10 minutes until softened.
  3. Remove vegetables from skillet; add ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
  4. Return veggies to the skillet; stir in beef broth and Dijon mustard. Simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Turn off heat, lay provolone cheese over the mixture, cover for 1 to 2 minutes until melted.
  6. Serve immediately in bowls.

This dish is best served hot and can be customized with your favorite low-carb vegetables or sauces.
