Ingredients
  

  • 4.4 oz round brie cheese
  • 1 1/2 tbsp fig preserves
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp diced fresh rosemary
  • 1 tbsp chopped pecans
  • 1 tbsp chopped dried figs
  • 1 tsp pumpkin seeds optional
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Toasted bread or baguette slices
  • Bagel crisps or artisanal crackers
  • Fresh fruit grapes, sliced apples, or pears

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Score and remove only the top rind from the brie, leaving sides and bottom intact.
  3. Place brie in a small cast iron skillet or ceramic baking dish.
  4. Spread fig preserves evenly over the top of the cheese.
  5. Sprinkle sea salt and diced rosemary evenly across the surface.
  6. Add chopped pecans, dried figs, and optional pumpkin seeds. Press gently to adhere.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and slightly bubbling.
  8. Remove from oven, drizzle with honey, and serve immediately with bread, crackers, and fresh fruit.

Notes

To prepare ahead, assemble the brie and refrigerate up to 4 hours. Bring to room temperature before baking. Store leftovers covered and refrigerate up to 3 days; reheat in a 300°F oven for 8–10 minutes.
