- In a small bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter with a fork until crumbly. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter or oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add wet mixture to dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in chopped peaches, being careful not to overmix.
- Spoon batter into lined or greased muffin tins, filling each about 3/4 full. Sprinkle with crumb topping.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
These muffins are best enjoyed warm, and you can easily substitute the peaches with your favorite fruits.
