Ingredients
  

  • 240 g All-purpose flour
  • 300 g Granulated sugar
  • 15 tsp Baking powder
  • 2.5 tsp Salt
  • 113 g Unsalted butter softened
  • 240 ml Milk
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 5 ml Vanilla extract
  • 85 g Strawberry Jell-O
  • 85 g Blue raspberry Jell-O
  • 240 ml Boiling water
  • 240 ml Cold water
  • 360 g Whipped topping like Cool Whip
  • to taste Fresh strawberries
  • to taste Blueberries
  • to taste Whipped cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Once baked, allow the cake to cool slightly before poking holes all over the top with a fork.
  6. In separate bowls, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O and blue raspberry Jell-O in boiling water.
  7. Stir in cold water, then pour the strawberry Jell-O over half the cake and the blue raspberry Jell-O over the other half.
  8. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to allow the Jell-O to set.
  9. Top the cake with whipped topping and garnish with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream before serving.
