Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool slightly before poking holes all over the top with a fork.
- In separate bowls, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O and blue raspberry Jell-O in boiling water.
- Stir in cold water, then pour the strawberry Jell-O over half the cake and the blue raspberry Jell-O over the other half.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to allow the Jell-O to set.
- Top the cake with whipped topping and garnish with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream before serving.
