Method
- Slice the bananas into thick rounds, approximately ⅓ inch each.
- Mix the sugar, cinnamon, and optional nutmeg in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Spray a large skillet lightly with nonstick spray and heat it over medium-low. Add the banana slices.
- Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the bananas. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the banana slices and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon mixture on top. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until soft and golden.
Notes
Great as a quick dessert or breakfast addition. Serve warm with ice cream, yogurt, or a dollop of whipped cream.
