Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Crumble the feta cheese into a bowl and mix it with chopped fresh herbs, chili flakes, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Take a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it lightly with olive oil. Place another sheet on top and repeat the process, using a total of three to four sheets for extra crispiness.
- Cut the layered phyllo into strips, about 4 inches wide. Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of each strip and roll it up tightly.
- Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and brush the tops with additional olive oil.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, heat honey over low heat with additional chili flakes, stirring until melted and combined.
- Serve the feta rolls warm, drizzled generously with the chili honey.
Notes
These rolls are best served warm. Feel free to experiment with different herbs or add a touch of garlic for extra flavor.
