  • 2.5 cups chicken broth liquid base for cooking pasta
  • 1.5 cups tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes for a rich, savory sauce
  • 2 cups bowtie pasta uncooked, will cook directly in the pot

  • 1 cup shredded cheese optional, for a creamy, cheesy finish

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced kielbasa and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in tomato sauce and chicken broth. Stir well.
  5. Add uncooked bowtie pasta and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes.
  7. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking; cook until pasta is tender.
  8. Optional: Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
  9. Garnish with parsley or Parmesan and serve hot.
