  • 113 g butter, melted
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 125 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar; stir until smooth.
  3. Add mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake 20‑25 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

These blondies are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a few days. Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor!
