Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) so it's nice and hot for baking the crab bombs.
- In a large bowl, gently combine jumbo lump crab meat, mayonnaise, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, and breadcrumbs until just blended.
- Scoop the mixture and form it into 4 equal-sized balls, packing them gently to keep the crab’s texture intact.
- Set the crab bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they're spaced apart for even cooking.
- Pour melted butter over each crab bomb, letting it soak into every delicious crevice.
- Slide the baking sheet into your preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and are sizzling hot.
- Carefully remove the crab bombs from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving — the aroma is irresistible!
Notes
These crab bombs are perfect as an appetizer for a party or as a main course with a side salad. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the mixture.
