  • ½ cup 100 g / 3.5 oz granulated sugar
  • ½ cup 120 ml / 4 fl oz chocolate syrup
  • ¼ cup 20 g / 0.7 oz cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Crushed candy canes
  • Holiday sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Brew a strong coffee base and let it cool.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine cooled coffee, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and cinnamon.
  3. Whisk the mixture until smooth and aromatic.
  4. Heat gently over medium heat, stirring to prevent scorching.
