Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails fresh or frozen, thawed and patted dry
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F (200°C) on broil.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise and gently lift the meat to rest on top.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, parsley, and lemon juice.
  4. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with garlic butter sauce.
  5. Broil for 6–8 minutes until meat is opaque and reaches 140–145°F internally.
  6. Remove from oven, rest for 1 minute, and drizzle with remaining garlic butter before serving.

Notes

Avoid overcooking lobster tails, as this will result in tough meat. Always cook just until opaque.
