- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut the French bread in half lengthwise, separating the top from the bottom, and place them, cut side face up, on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened salted butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and shredded parmesan cheese.
- Spread the butter mixture evenly on the cut sides of each bread half.
- Bake the garlic bread for 12-15 minutes until the butter is melted and bubbly. If desired, broil for 1-2 minutes for a crispier top.
- Top with fresh chopped parsley for garnish if desired, and serve fresh.
