Ingredients

Dip Base
  • 1.5 cups Plain Greek Yogurt non-fat, thick, preferably 0% fat for best texture
  • 2 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder approx 60g, casein or whey-casein blend recommended for optimal texture
  • 4 oz Light Cream Cheese softened, or Neufchâtel cheese, for easier blending
  • 0.25 cup Powdered Sugar or to taste, adjust for desired sweetness
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract for a classic Dunkaroo flavor
  • 2 tbsp Rainbow Sprinkles plus more for garnish, for a festive look
For Serving
  • 8-10 whole Graham Crackers a traditional dipper for Dunkaroo dip
  • 1 cup Vanilla Wafers adds a sweet and crunchy element
  • 1 cup Pretzel Thins for a delicious sweet and salty combination
  • 1 cup Apple Slices for a healthier, refreshing dipper option

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer
  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • Serving bowl

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened light cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat with an electric mixer (or whisk vigorously) until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  2. Add the plain Greek yogurt and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Continue to beat until fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. Gradually add the vanilla protein powder, mixing on low speed until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the dip too thick or gritty. Ensure there are no lumps of protein powder.
  4. Gently fold in 2 tablespoons of rainbow sprinkles using a spatula until evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  5. Transfer the High Protein Dunkaroo Dip to a serving bowl. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.
  6. Before serving, garnish with an extra sprinkle of rainbow sprinkles.
  7. Serve chilled with your favorite dippers such as graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzel thins, or apple slices.

Notes

For the best texture, use a thick Greek yogurt and a casein or whey-casein blend protein powder. The dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
