Method
- Wash and completely dry apples, then insert wooden sticks firmly into the center.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.
- Dip apples into melted chocolate, coating evenly.
- Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place apples on parchment.
- While chocolate is tacky, sprinkle or roll apples in crushed candy canes.
- Melt white chocolate and stir in peppermint extract.
- Drizzle white chocolate over apples decoratively.
- Let apples set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
- Serve or store once fully set.
Notes
Make sure apples are completely dry before dipping to ensure smooth chocolate coating.
