Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Method

  1. Pound chicken breasts to 1/2-inch thickness and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side. Remove and rest.
  3. Add chicken broth to the same skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in egg noodles, cover, and cook 7–8 minutes.
  4. Melt butter in a small pan, sauté garlic 1–2 minutes, then stir into noodles along with Parmesan.
  5. Slice rested chicken and place over noodles. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Avoid lifting the lid while noodles cook to maintain steam and prevent mushy texture.
