Method
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in rainbow sprinkles.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use baking sprinkles to prevent color bleeding. Do not overmix the dough to keep cookies soft and chewy. Chill dough briefly for thicker cookies if desired.
