Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and dried herbs.
- Fold in shredded cheese and chopped olives.
- In a separate bowl, whisk olive oil and milk until combined.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Do not overmix the batter to keep the bread tender. Use parchment paper for easy removal and clean slicing.
