Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Sesame seeds optional
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet, breaking into crumbles.
  3. Add onions and sauté until soft. Season with salt and pepper. Drain grease.
  4. In a bowl, mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Slice slider buns in half and place bottoms in baking dish.
  6. Spread half the sauce on the bottom buns.
  7. Layer beef, cheese, pickles, and lettuce evenly.
  8. Spread remaining sauce on top buns and place over sliders.
  9. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. Cover with foil and bake 10 minutes.
  11. Uncover and bake another 5 minutes until golden.
  12. Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use fresh slider buns and allow sliders to rest for 1–2 minutes before cutting to help them hold together.
