Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium fresh pineapple about 2–3 lbs, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted coconut oil
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 –2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: ¼ tsp chili powder or tajín
  • Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving

Method
 

  1. Remove the crown and bottom of the pineapple, slice off the skin, remove the eyes, and cut into 1-inch chunks.
  2. In a bowl, toss pineapple chunks with oil, cinnamon, honey, and salt.
  3. Let sit for 5 minutes to enhance caramelization.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  5. Arrange pineapple in a single layer in the basket.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking.
  7. Cook until golden with caramelized edges.
  8. Serve immediately, optionally with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Use fresh pineapple only for best results. Avoid overcrowding to ensure caramelization. Serve hot for maximum flavor and texture.
