Method
- Grease an 8x8-inch pan lightly with non-stick spray or butter. Pour Fruity Pebbles cereal into a large mixing bowl.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth (about 3–5 minutes).
- Pour the marshmallow mixture over the Fruity Pebbles and gently stir with a rubber spatula until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Use wax or parchment paper to press it evenly without pressing too hard.
- Let cool for 20–30 minutes at room temperature (or 5 minutes in the fridge), then cut into 9 squares and serve.
Notes
Avoid overheating the marshmallows to keep the treats soft and chewy. Press gently into the pan to maintain a light texture.
