Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 preferred
  • Salt pepper, garlic powder (to taste)
  • 4 large flour tortillas 10–12 inch
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional: pickles
  • Optional: diced onions
  • Optional: burger sauce for dipping

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Press ~4 oz ground beef onto one half of each tortilla.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Place beef-side down in the skillet and press firmly for 30 seconds.
  5. Cook 2–3 minutes until a crispy crust forms; flip so beef faces up.
  6. Sprinkle cheese over the hot beef.
  7. Fold tortilla in half and cook 1–2 minutes per side until golden and melted.
  8. Rest 1 minute before slicing and serving.

Notes
