Ingredients
  

  • 1 ciabatta loaf 12–14 inches
  • 1 cup grilled chicken or turkey
  • 4 oz fresh mozzarella or brie cheese
  • 1 cup roasted red bell peppers
  • 1 cup arugula or baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup caramelized onions
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze or pesto
  • 2 tablespoons garlic aioli or mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Slice the ciabatta loaf lengthwise.
  2. Brush the inside with olive oil.
  3. Toast the bread over medium heat until golden.
  4. Spread garlic aioli on the bottom half.
  5. Drizzle balsamic glaze or pesto on the top half.
  6. Layer the grilled chicken or turkey evenly.
  7. Add the cheese slices on top.
  8. Broil briefly until the cheese melts.
  9. Add roasted red peppers, arugula, and caramelized onions.
  10. Close the sandwich, press gently, and slice in half.

Notes

Always toast the bread before assembling to prevent sogginess and achieve the best texture.
