Method
- Preheat oven to broil and position rack about 6 inches from heat.
- Using kitchen shears, cut lobster shells lengthwise and lift meat to rest on top.
- Place lobster tails meat-side up on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, zest, parsley, paprika, Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
- Reserve 3 tablespoons of butter mixture and brush the rest generously over lobster meat.
- Optionally sprinkle garlic powder and onion powder over the lobster.
- Broil for 5–8 minutes until meat is opaque and reaches 140–145°F.
- Remove from oven, spoon reserved butter over lobster, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Watch closely while broiling to avoid overcooking. Lobster is done when opaque and firm.
