- Soak pitted dates in warm water for 10-15 minutes until softened.
- Drain and transfer dates to a blender or food processor.
- Add water, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- If too thick, add more water one tablespoon at a time.
- Taste and adjust salt or vanilla as desired.
- Transfer to a jar and use immediately or refrigerate.
