- (Optional) Heat olive oil in skillet. Sear chicken breasts 2–3 min per side until golden.
- In slow cooker, whisk together cream of chicken soup, ranch mix, broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper until smooth.
- Place chicken in slow cooker, coating with sauce. Cover and cook 6–7 hrs on LOW or 3–4 hrs on HIGH.
- Shred chicken with forks directly in slow cooker. Stir in sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or preferred starch. Garnish with cheese and parsley.
Notes
Add sour cream only after cooking to prevent curdling. Substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt for extra protein. Serve family-style or in tacos, rice bowls, or wraps for versatile meals.
