  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup candy-coated chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
  2. Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until glossy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then whisk in vanilla.
  4. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  5. Spread batter in pan and bake 27–33 minutes until moist crumbs appear on a toothpick.
  6. Cool brownies completely.
  7. Heat heavy cream until simmering and pour over chopped chocolate.
  8. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir into smooth ganache.
  9. Spread ganache over cooled brownies.
  10. Top with candy-coated chocolate chips and refrigerate 1–2 hours.
