Ingredients
  

  • 3 chicken breasts cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 pound pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 1 jar alfredo sauce 15 oz
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 to 4 teaspoons garlic and herb seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 6 kaiser rolls
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • Extra garlic and herb seasoning for brushing
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook chicken for 6 to 8 minutes until fully cooked.
  4. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente and drain.
  5. Cut tops off kaiser rolls and hollow out centers carefully.
  6. Mix melted butter with garlic and herb seasoning and brush inside bread bowls.
  7. Toast bread bowls in oven for 4 to 5 minutes.
  8. Combine pasta with alfredo sauce and cooked chicken.
  9. Fill toasted bread bowls with chicken alfredo mixture.
  10. Top with shredded Parmesan cheese.
  11. Bake for 4 to 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is crispy.
  12. Garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes

Toast bread bowls before filling to prevent sogginess. Do not overfill to keep bowls sturdy and easy to serve.
