Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 113 g salted butter softened
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 120 g Colby jack cheese shredded
  • 120 g mozzarella cheese shredded
  • to taste fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut your French bread loaf lengthwise and place on top of a baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Spread evenly on each side of the garlic bread.
  3. Top with Colby Jack and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until butter is melted and bubbly. You can also broil the top for 1-2 minutes at the end to give it a more crisp top.
  5. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For an extra kick, try adding red pepper flakes or using different types of cheese based on your preference.
