- Remove the side muscle and thoroughly pat the scallops dry with paper towels. This ensures proper browning and prevents steaming.
- In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil with Old Bay Seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently toss the scallops until they're evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for 2-3 minutes. This step is crucial for achieving that perfect golden exterior.
- Place the seasoned scallops in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't touch each other. Work in batches if necessary to maintain proper spacing.

Notes
