- Begin by creaming the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, baking powder, kosher salt, egg, and vanilla extract until a smooth dough forms.
- Fold half of the sprinkles into the cookie dough by hand, then pour the remaining sprinkles into a small bowl for topping.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket or tray with olive oil spray, or line with parchment paper.
- Shape the dough into small rounds, dip each one into the remaining sprinkles, and place them onto the prepared basket or tray.
- Set air fryer temperature to 320 degrees F and set cook time for 4-6 minutes.
- Allow them to firm up as they cool, plate the finished cookies, and continue air frying the remaining dough.
