Method
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
- Add chicken drumsticks and coat evenly with seasoning blend, massaging into the skin.
- Arrange drumsticks in air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
- Cook for 15 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
- Flip drumsticks and cook another 10-15 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165-175°F.
- Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Pat chicken dry before seasoning for crispier skin. Always flip halfway through cooking for even browning. Use a thermometer to ensure doneness.
